2016: live truly, madly and deeply

Most people dread when January comes and though I felt the drab last week something about the new year excites me. I geek about picking out a new planner and on the first page I always write all of my goals for the new year which is something I look forward to every year (geek alert). I don’t necessarily create resolutions, because I am constantly adding and checking things off my goals and bucket list for the year. For me, Goals are things I really want to work on and live by for the year and then I create a bucket list for all of the little items/things I can check off! So here are my goals + bucket list for 2016

To start my motto for the new year, and yes I have a motto, is to live (and love) truly, madly, and deeply. This isn’t exclusive to relationships, I want everything I do this year to be with the upmost amount of passion and encouragement, whether it is on Love + Be, taking on a new opportunities that may be scary, or even at work. This means being much more intentional with my time. I would love to have less time behind a screen but that is probably not going to happen so I just want to make sure I am making the most of it!

Sleep! I really want to get more sleep this year and make it a priority. That latter part of this year was absolutely amazing but so crazy busy. There were times that I should have been on top of the world but I was too tired to fully enjoy it, sadly. I also feel so much more productive and optimistic when I get more sleep. So this is going to be a huge goal for me!

Wanderlust is on my mind! I may sound like a broken record but I want to make sure that I am saving more and putting my time towards traveling. It is something I enjoy so much and even if it is just the littlest of adventures I still always end up having a blast and find so much joy in just taking in a new city or place.

My last goal for 2016 is to just bloom where I am planted. I know I am a cheeseball and it does go hand and hand with living truly, madly and deeply but this is important to me. I am a huge scaredy cat and I need to be brave and know that whatever comes my way is exactly how God had planned it. I want to grow and enjoy whatever it may be in that moment!
