Happy Monday + first day of spring! If you ask me that calls for a celebration! I hope your weekend was great and don’t you wish right about now it was a long weekend? There is something about warmer temps and the sun staying out just a wee bit longer that makes me so happy and itching for a longer weekend.
This weekend was so great and super low-key. But do you expect anything else from me? Friday I grabbed sushi and drinks with a sweet friend. Then Saturday I went to the prettiest bridal shower and then made rosewater toner and exfoliator with a friend. I finished the weekend at Church Sunday morning and a coffeeshop work date in the afternoon. Then last night Katie and I went out to dinner and drinks just because. My mantra these days is learning to just celebrate each day. I want to celebrate all of God’s blessing and gifts, celebrate other and celebrate my little wins. So often we zoom right past the little wins but no matter the size they deserve to be celebrated!

This book y’all. I mean I don’t even know where to begin. The older I get, the more I want to be aware of what I am putting in and on my body. As I said above, we made rosewater toner this weekend and the recipe was from ‘Eat Beautiful.’ But the book is so much more than just recipes. It teaches so much about different foods and their benefits most of which I had absolutely no idea. Like kiwis. Did you know they are the skin brightener? Yea, me neither!

What an amazing article about being obedient. I will be the first to tell you, that I struggle with this concept of obedience and really listening to God. But I love how this article highlights the purpose of lament and that it points us back to God. It’s an amazing read and especially during that 2pm slump. I know you have those too!

If you’ve been reading for a while then you know that I am a sucker for a company that gives back or has an amazing mantra. Well So Worth Loving is one of those companies and I fall more in love with them each and every time I visit their website. Their manifesto is
No matter my history, past mistakes, relationship status, or career choice, I am worthy of love. I am not defined by my past. I am prepared because of it. While my own voice and others may tell me different, I will lean into the safe people that affirm this way of thinking. When I encourage others to love themselves I am encouraging them to treat themselves with kindness, patience, respect, and all that embodies love. We live our life knowing we have worth. So Worth Loving. It’s a lifestyle.
How could you not want to support them? On top of that their products are super rad. They have tons of fun tees and sweatshirts. I am loving this one
