My adventure series is all about the little adventures anyone can do to find joy in the littlest of things and it’s a great way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life as we know it. So today I get to share with you my adventures for this spring and if I am being honest this is always my favorite time of the season. I love these posts (you can read my 2015 adventures summer, fall, & winter)! But there is especially something about spring this year that makes my heart skip a few beats!
Food Trucks // I guarantee that your city has food trucks and you should go find them! There is something so fun about warm weather that makes me just eat outside (& let’s be real, spend all of my time outside). Anyone else with me? Food trucks are also an amazing way to try new local foods. Every Friday in Charlotte there is a food truck rodeo at one of the breweries full of taco, bbq, grilled cheese, and greek trucks (the list goes on and on) and it is possibly my new favorite tradition! So foodies go out and find some food trucks!
Go on a Picnic // It’s spring time so it’s time to plan a little picnic! It is quite possibly the easiest thing to do, all you have to do is stop by your local grocery store and pick up some meats + cheeses + fruit or even make little sandwiches! Easy as 1,2,3 and there is something about going to a park or garden and setting up shop for a few hours that just screams spring!
Visit your Local Greenhouse // I am a huge farmers market girl but for some reason this year I keep seeing pictures of greenhouses and there is something so enchanting about being surrounded by blooms! I cannot wait to stop by and just explore all of the beautiful flowers and plants! Even if you don’t buy anything or just pick up a little succulent, stopping by your greenhouse is sure to add a little pep to your day!
Patio Revamp // With spring starting, what better time than now to give your outdoor space a little makeover? I am sure you have started or are starting your spring cleaning so as you clean and go through some of your decor see if there are any that could serve a better purpose, like your outdoor space! I bought some gold stars at target during the Holidays and wanted to hang them up in my room or office. Well I just recently pulled them back out to setup and realized they would be perfect on my patio. Also, give yourself a little budget for some new lights to string or maybe even some pillows to add some color! Just adding a few small touches will really change the space completely!
I couldn’t be more excited for spring this year and cannot wait for these little adventures but I wanna hear what you have planned! Comment below with your adventures
