If you’re anything like me, then your favorite section of Anthropologie is their candle section (But just window shopping because they are so darn pricey). I could sit there and smell all the different scents and between my three roommates and me, we have candles burning all day long. I just recently came across the most wonderful candle company that actually is based out of Charlotte and it is oh so affordable! It go by the name of Sunny & Lo and just trust me, they’re amazing!
Sunny & Lo is an amazing brand where they make hand poured soy candles that smell out of this world. They are the epitome of beauty, optimism and nostalgia! Sunny & Lo is all about giving back and providing socially responsible home accessories, which we all know I am a huge fan of. There is something amazing about a company that gives back and makes that a priority in their brand’s vision. They share a portion of their proceeds with organizations that are working to change lives of ladies all around the world. Amazing!
Now let’s talk about the candles! Each candle is crafted with quality, sustainability and design in mind. They are hand poured in their studio (pretty cool) and made from soy wax from American farmers (go america)! They use soy because it is a natural and renewable resource! I have the Tobacco + Vanilla candle and burn it every morning as I start my day. I just love the subtle scent and get compliments on it all of the time. I cannot wait to try the ginger + anjou pear, honeysuckle + sage and lavender (or how about them all?)!
Now let me tell you Brianna, the founder, she is as cute as can be! She has a heart of gold and her passion is one I look up to! She is the epitome of a girl boss and I hope to be half the women she is one day. She was trucking away in her fundraising campaign job and realized her love for brands that giveback which is when Sunny & Lo was born!
I could go on and on about these candles but above all else I am so thankful to have met Brianna and get to follow along on her little journey. I love sharing new companies and I hope you enjoyed reading as much I did writing! Have one heck of a Friday!
